Reflections of Faith is the story of a century-old North Texas church and its collection of inspirational stained glass windows. Each of the windows has a story to tell, not only of the bible verse or saint depicted, but also of the window’s donor – their life, loved ones, and their faith.

When the church was being planned, Denison was the ninth largest city in all of Texas. The town was founded in the decade following the U.S. Civil War, when the Missouri Kansas & Texas Railroad extended rail lines into Texas from the north. The railroad attracted first and second generation immigrants from Ireland, Italy and other parts of Europe to the frontier of Texas. These pioneers brought with them a hope for a new and better life and a strong foundation in the Catholic faith and traditions.

The book will take you on a journey back in time to learn how the early parishioners built the beautiful and stately St. Patrick Catholic Church – not once, but twice in less than twenty years. The stories will move and inspire you, as you examine the windows that reflect their faith.
